Deepak Mital is Senior Director, Architectures, at Synaptics, a role that includes leading all hardware, software, and applications development related to machine learning (ML). Deepak has more than 28 years of experience building and deploying silicon systems, with an emphasis on hardware and software related to processors. He has architected small MCUs for disc drives to larger processors running full wireless base stations. Deepak has architected and built hardware and software for artificial intelligence (AI) inference acceleration at the edge.
He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in electronics engineering and is a co-inventor of more than 25 patents.
